Ethan has been feeling fine and has not had any more fevers. He even slept through the night last night! We went to church this morning and then had lunch at First Watch, and stopped at Carter's to pick up some mittens for Ethan (thanks for the tip, Mandi!) Then went home to rest for a bit before going back out tonight. Our church had their annual Fall Family Festival this evening. We took Haley, Brianna, and Ethan and had a great time! The girls had a lot of fun on the rides. We had some treats, took a hayride, and the girls got their hair painted and went trunk-or-treating. Ethan loved watching all of the people, of course. We also got to see Aunt Lindsay and Shawn in his costume! It was great fall weather, but it got chilly so Ethan's new mittens really came in handy. He did really good keeping them and his hat on! He usually yanks his hats off :) We were there until the end, and everyone was ready to crash by the time we got home!
Welcome to the world of the Gabbard family! Check in with us to see what new adventures we are getting into as best friends and parents. Ryan and I met at our high school job working at Thriftway (of all places!), and started dating August 21, 1999. We gave our vows to one another 4 years later on August 23, 2003 when we became husband and wife. Enjoying life together as a couple was so wonderful, but we couldn't have imagined how parenthood could make us feel. We welcomed our precious baby boy, Ethan Christopher, to the world January 3, 2008. Ryan is finishing up his program at Techskills and is a Remote Computer Technician for GE and full-time Daddy. Miranda is a Registered Nurse and full-time Mommy. Ethan is a wonderful, happy little boy, and (parent-induced) lover of monkeys. We are enjoying life together as a family!
